Crafted from biodegradable polymers, Two Little Fishies NPX Bioplastics gradually releases organic nutrients, promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria. These bacteria efficiently consume nitrate and phosphate, naturally lowering their levels in the tank. The beneficial bacteria are also a food source for filter-feeding invertebrates such as corals, clams, sponges, and feather dusters. Any excess bacteria are safely removed from the water column by a protein skimmer.

Specifications
- How Much to Use: Use 100 mL per 25 gallons
- Recommended Usage: Use with Two Little Fishies 150 and 550 Phosban Media Reactors or other fluidized media reactors
- Recommended Replacement Schedule: Add new Bioplastics every 6-12 months
- Available Sizes: 200 mL and 400 mL
Instructions
- Use in a fluidized reactor like the PhosBan Reactor 150 or 550 and replace the traditional reactor sponges with plastic screens. The reactor should not use foam sponges as these will clog over time.
- Use 100 mL of Bioplastics per 25 gallons.
- Adjust the flow rate so that all media is tumbling vigorously.
- Wait 4+ weeks for the beneficial bacteria to populate. Resist the temptation to change anything even if nitrate levels continue to rise.
- Add new pellets every 6-12 months. Do not remove the remaining pellets.
