Brightwell Zooplanktōs-M
Zooplankton Suspension for Fish, Stony Corals, Clams, and Other Filter-Feeders
Brightwell Aquatics Zooplanktōs-M is a concentrated suspension of copepods, a type of zooplankton that various aquatic organisms heavily prey upon due to their size. The specific variety of copepods in Zooplanktōs-M is exceptionally rich in amino acids, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and numerous carotenoid pigments, which makes them highly nutritious for the organisms that consume them. These copepods belong to the mesoplankton class (200.0 - 2,000.0µm). Their size is suitable for feeding many species of stony corals (both large- and small-polyp), as well as clams and other bivalves, feather dusters, larval crustaceans and bivalves, juvenile fishes, and the adult planktivorous fishes (such as anthias, basslets, pseudochromids, dartfishes, chromis, etc.) along with microinvertebrate predators (like mandarinfishes, certain gobies, and dwarf wrasses).
Product Highlights:
- Provides zooplankton ranging in size from 500 - 1,000µm (1mm).
- Ideally sized for many stony corals, clams, tube worms, larval crustaceans, juvenile fishes, and adult planktivorous and microinvertebrate-predatory fishes.
